We traveled to San Antonio for the week of March 17-22nd to be with our friends we met/stayed with in Ethiopia! It was our first lil' reunion since we brought all of our kiddos home-and what a riot it was! All of the kids have grown up so much and played so well together, just as the adults did too : ) Lil' Z is something else-one night we're eating dinner, the kids were already done and Parker comes flyin' down the steps "the babies, the babies have cookies", Lisa knew instantly "Ohh, this has Zaela written all over it" Sure enough, upstairs in the corner we're Zaela, Rylee and Helena scarfing cookies down that Z had gotten from the diaper bag in the bedroom...that about sums up the week in San Antonio! We are so thankful for all of them, and clearly God knew what he was doing when he had us all staying at the same guest house in Ethiopia together, life long friends were made and we cannot wait to see everyone again!!! Lucky for us, we'll be able to see Shands, Lisa and Zaela in about 2 months when we head to California to see Jake....we cannot wait!!!

Waitin for Miss Z to arrive! We've had a busy month of March-par for the course for the Armbrustmacher's! That's us! Our month of March we started off in Chicago-Ryan was flown there for work to accept an award for being top producer in Michigan! All of his late nights in the office paid off! Great work sweets, we're so proud of you! Rylee and I jumped in the car and took a road trip and met him there a day after he arrived-we had such a fun week-Rylee loves Chicago just as much as his mommy and daddy do! We went to Shedds aquarium and for all of u that haven't been there, I totally recommend it. We all loved it. We were able to go to Navy Pier on one of the warmer days-it was nice, we can't wait to go back in the summer to enjoy everything it has to offer! The view of Lake Michigan from Chicago is breathtaking!

After lunch at Cheesecake Factory-After a few days in Chicago we came home to "regroup"-work a bit, get our life back in order and Ryan and I went to Indianapolis for the Big Ten Tournament! This was our 3rd year going, and we're pretty sure it's just going to become tradition....It's now gotten to be about a group of 20 or so people that head down every year-a nice split of Michigan and Michigan State fans amongst our group...one of these years Michigan will be right there at the top fighting for the top position! Until then no worries for us, we're just there to have a good time!
Rylee was a lucky boy and was able to stay with his aunt and uncle and nammy for the first night, and then we're ever so lucky to have friends that love to have him! He went to stay with his "Auntie" Amber and had so much fun with his friends Aylah and Emerie! Im pretty sure he didn't really even know we were gone.....
