We spent the day at my parent's house, and the day before we went to Ryans moms for an Easter egg hunt with cousins and a BBQ-good good family weekend!
A few days after Easter it was also time for a lil' get-away for mama! For my 30th birthday Ryan got me a flight out to Cali to see my brother and hang with him, at the same time our fabulous friends Lisa and Shands got married!!! A lil' scary accident happened to our friend Chris Mott a week before we were all supposed to meet in Cali-she was thrown off a horse, broke her tail bone and had to cancel the trip last minute, we sure did miss her-but thank goodness she is doing wonderful now, and that was the worst of it!
Lisa was gorgeous, Lil' Miss Zaela stole the show and of course Shands-you looked pretty cool yourself! They have grown to be some of our closest friends, when you travel the road that we have to and from Ethiopia together, it's a bond that can't be explained! We are so blessed to have them in our lives!!!! Congratulations guys!
Catching up a lil' bit in the blogging world, so i'll be back to post a lil' of this and that of what's going on-big changes coming up for the Armbrustmachers! Please say a lil' prayer that we will be making the right decisions for us and the kiddos-we feel good about it all-just would love any lil' extra encouragment we could get thrown our way! : )
