I think we can all say at one time or another, TIME FLIES. BUT seriously, seriously-HOW in the world is this "little" boy almost 6 years old, and already it's been 5 years since we first held him in our arms and brought him home!
He is one of the sweetest, most hilarious little 5.5 year olds (because, let's get real the .5 is REALLY important in the eyes of a 5 year old) I know. Not to say that he doesn't give us challenges, because he's pretty independent and is now loving to do his own thing. He will be starting ALL day, EVERY day kindergarten this year and i'm having a reeeeealllllly tough time with it. I have to keep telling myself that this is awesome how excited he is about it.
We celebrated RYLEE "day" (weekend) with a trip to the beach, we had a BLAST! Water was freezing, but the sand was hot, the sun was even hotter and the kiddos didn't care! We loved watching all of the boats come through the channel into big LAKE MICHIGAN-we walked the beach, out to the end of the pier, wonderful dinner and ice cream! FUN.FAMILY.DAY!
It was a 12 hour day, finished with a rest at the hill to watch some more boats come through before we headed home. We can HONESTLY say that we COULD NOT be more blessed-Ezra and Rylee are NOTHING short of miracles-and they love eachother so much (most days)...she's going to miss him when he's gone from the house for 8 hours at a time, me too baby girl-me too.....we know how he's going to LOVE his time learning and playing at school with all of his new friends! We love you buddy-thank you for being YOU and having such an awesome day with us! Happy Happy RYLEE B.Day!!! (Round 5) : )
