The MOST wonderful time of the Year!

The Birthday Party was a hit-we had it at the bowling alley and had about 22 kids under the age of 9 and about 25 adults as well. Rylee was blessed with many gifts and loved his birthday cake and bowling! Thank you everyone for such a special day for our lil' man.

We then went to a hotel to swim for the night and spend the night with my brother and his wife and the Ballards joined us too. The kids loved swimming in the middle of winter-Rylee is such a lil' water bug-he didn't want to get out! I took Rylee for his well baby check and he continues to grow like a weed! He is now in the 75th% for his height-Dr.Mitchum estimates we'll have atleast a 6'2" son on our hands by the time it's all said and done : ) He's in the 50th% for his weight, and is 28lbs. His personality continues to crack us up, and every day it's something new. Lately when he thinks we're "crazy" he says "MOM, Seriously?!"....Apparently he's picked that up from me because now I have caught myself saying that quite frequently about everything....I guess now we'll be a lot more "aware" of what's coming out of our mouths. It's so funny to see how much he knows now, what he is aware of, what he picks up, etc.-he's like a sponge!

As you all know we are not fans of the weather this time of the year here in Michigan. But if we're going to live here, we might as well make the best of it and get out and enjoy the things goin' on this time of year! We went to pick out our Christmas tree this year with the Essells-Rylee's best bud is Cameron-their lil' boy who is about a year older than Rylee-they play really well together, and have a riot. We also went to this really cute place that took us on a train ride to see Santa, live reindeer, hot cocoa, sleighs and all-we had such a good time! Christmas season is absolutly one of my favorite times of the year (weather aside) snow is ok until right after Christmas and then I'm about over it. We're curious to see how well Rylee likes playing in it, since last year he never really did because he was too little.

Pics to come soon!
