Happy "Gotcha Day" Rylee Bona Roozie

We had a fabulous day yesterday spending the WHOLE day together as a family. ON. A. WEDNESDAY. nonetheless. Ryan took the day off from work and we headed out for the day! A day to do whatever we wanted! We started off with some stops in town to mail off our t-shirts to the peeps that have ordered them-dropped them off to Auntie Trish for her and Uncle Derek and then we were off!
We've taken a lot of trip to different zoo's this year, but let's be honest-the 2.5 year old doesnt know the difference, and I'm certain he would like to live at the zoo. So no matter how many meerkats, red pandas, sea otters or even the provacative Spider Monkeys we have seen in the past 4 weeks, if the boys happy=we're happy! The tiger was VERY active and just kept pacing back and forth, would occasionally stop to take a peak right at Rylee Bona and Rylee was certain that Tiger was after him. Funny.Stuff. And after all, had never ridden a camel or pony before, so heck why not-let's head back to the zoo for the 3rd time in the last 4 weeks! :)
We then headed off to lunch on a patio-the weather was absolutly Gorgeous-slight breeze and about 78 with complete sunshine! What a perfect day for patio lunch! Rylee had his favorite, chicken fingers and french fries with chocolate milk (did i mention it was his day-he could do or have really whatever he wanted) I put aside that there wasnt really any fruit or vegetable available to him-there's always tomorrow, right?!
We did a lil' shopping to find some digs for his fall wardrobe, but really what we ended up with his his halloween costume for this year and some undies for him, and a bag full of CHEAP, to die for items from the Baby Gap for Baby Ezra Tilahun! Rylee was happy and content though-he loved playing with the new tutu we found for her!
After a long day we headed back to dinner with some of our closest friends The Ballards and The Essells and that my friends was just a complete. train. wreck! Needless to say, we had a tired boy, awful service and after 2.5 hrs there our checks were comped and Rylee man was in bed by 8:45! A perfect ending to a perfect day my friends! We couldn't be more thrilled to be his mommy and daddy!!!
