And more and more blessed. It's no secret. I love my birthday. There are a lot of people that don't. I do love it. I'm another year older, another year wiser (nope, i'm not) but let's get real, I have an amazing family and I am blessed beyond words that I can be here for them, and be healthy for another year. I have wonderful friends. WONDERFUL friends....as you can see from some images below....and wonderful friends from far away too that wouldn't fly home for my birthday-can you believe that?! : ) There were 18 of us at dinner at my favorite place-Ukai Hibachi grill-off to watch the Michigan game (clearly, they didn't get the memo that I wished for a win) and then off to a fun lil' bar to end the night!
Nikki (a "new" friend, who has a huge heart) gave me my most anticipated answer and gift-SHE will be JOINING us in Ethiopia this summer for our mission trip!!! YEah! They have a sweet boy they adopted from the U.S and now they are in the process to adopt a sweet baby girl from Ethiopia!
And right before that, our good buddy ol' pal Miss Emilie Voss surprised me with a visit from Toledo! Ryan and my family actually "kinda" surprised me for once! : ) That almost never happens, see I am way too smart!
